Residential and Small Building Applications

Bringing Photo-voltaics into the neighbourhood is one of our main goals. We see roof installations on houses as difficult and costly. Cleaning and damage repair bills can heavily offset any gains from the energy collection. Large buildings with Solar Collection rooftop arrays, is obviously still a good way to utilize the roof space. We think the front garden or back garden or parking lot can also be used to collect energy. Each eCactus Tower will generate enough power (9Kw/hr @ 4-5 hours/day) for a typical residence. Double Module Towers (60sqm PV material) as shown below, could also be single module (30 sqm PV), resulting in less energy production, but perhaps not as intrusive into the people space.

eCactus Solar Towers Integration

Urban Solar Park Applications

We're on a mission to change the way that Solar Energy collection is integrated into the Urban infrastructure. Large rooftop arrays are great but have some drawbacks, such as limited space, access, damage repair, installation costs, and others. A more cost effective system would allow for standardized installation. Parking lots or edge of rail systems would make for great large array solar parks when using eCactus Solar Towers.

Produce the energy as close to the demand as possible. High energy users such as Shopping Centers and Industrial use buildings, electric tram ways, would benefit greatly from onsite energy availibility.
